Specific topics include American studies, African students studying behind the Iron Curtain, disaffected students, binational centers, the brain drain, Communist youth groups, counter-insurgency, the "emphasis on Youth," the Interagency Youth Committee, the Olympics, the Peace Corps, book and media programs, schools, training, student and youth organizations, the flap over Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) support for the National Student Association, program effectiveness, worldwide student unrest during the late 1960s and early 1970s and the U.S. reaction thereto, and interagency relationships.
